Aged 24. Engineer with Kincaids. Son of Elizabeth Black, 20 West Stewart Street, Greenock. Educated at St Lawrence and St Amry's Schools. He was serving an apprenticeship with Rankin & Blackmore
Died at Auschwitz after an air attack. Captured in Italy in The British prisoners of war (POWs) who were housed in the E715 prisoner of war camp at Auschwitz between September 1943 and January 1945 were forced to work at the I.G. Farben construction site.
