Aged 24 Son of Thomas Sime Currie and Christina Currie, of Glasgow. Pupil of Greenock Academy. Worked with Brownlie and Co, City Sawmills. Praised highly by his captain for continuing to fire on the enemy plane, downing it, but being trapped in the plane. He died as a result of injuries.
